Project 2
Assignment 2, was to design lighting solutions for specific types of building that require a certain illuminance level.
In this assignment, in a group of 6-7 students. We have to choose a building either locally or overseas with a specific usage to determine the number of lights needed with the application of what we learned during the lecture.
Using lumen methods, room index calculation, U.factors, etc. In the project we also included general analysis of the building like daylight factors and materials like what we did in project 1.
This assignment was really interesting for me as it reminded me of maths, but after analyzing all the values and factors that are needed specifically for a gallery, I felt kind of proud. I was in charge of calculating the lumen methods and drawing the cross sections/ installations of the lights through pure imagination and research. This time since project 1. our team has been working so efficiently and Im so happy about that. I like this assignment :)
