Architectural Design Studio 2
This module introduces the principles and methods of design thinking that are common to many design fields such as building and architecture, such as analysis, abstraction, and synthesis. The studio's primary focus is "User and Context," which investigates the user's relationship with the natural environment.
environment. Students will participate in a series of studio-based exercises in this studio, the first of which will be an investigation of architectural spaces and construction via precedent studies, and the second of which will be an exploration of form and space via architectural conceptualization. Finally, students will design a small freestanding structure that meets the needs of users while also interacting with the site context.

Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality
Tropical Rainforest Discovery Platform
Continuing from the first assignment, applying architectural principles to produce spaces and defining the architectural principles, to generate form and create spaces for a tropical discovery platform of a 125m3 volume while exploring materials that speak the design.

Designing with Architectural Principles + Materiality + Context + User:
Tropical Wildlife Discovery Unit
Through what we learn in Project 1 and project 2 and applying it in Project 3. To design an atelier by the stream with minimum spaces in Bukit Jalil Recreational Park. The structure should be within the built-up space of a maximum of 100 sqm and be able to accommodate 2 people, including yourself and a discovery partner comfortably in a short spend of time (2-3 days). And must demonstrate your design intentions through the application of architectural principles, materiality, and constructability in creating a memorable spatial experience for the user(s).
